Why

Fair-trade exports need a high value-to-weight ratio to be competitive and contribute to local development. Simply produced and easily transportable anyone can see the opportunity of a product everyone needs.

This is definitely bottom-up-development and gives a chance at an independent trade relationship between civil society organisations and industry.

It could work anywhere!!!

Who

My idea came for the difficulty I had in purchasing a pair of shoelaces. Most shops don’t sell any and shops that do only offer an extremely bland and limited range.

The rarest shoelaces are those suitable for sport. Why not show some pride, commitment, or just fun with a custom pair for your team.

In no time you could be selling them!!!

Find your own shoelaces

Fairtied will provide any organisation with custom laces, enable them to generate income from their sale, and then supply them in the future.

The economics behind the organisation is influenced by the gradual and long term institutional approaches to planning and not the boom and bust we've seen before.
